Offered is this very nice copy of the Uncle Sam and the War Machine 45 "Spy Girl" b/w "Hold On" on Blue Onion records, issue no. BO-103.
This is a promotional copy, and it comes with a Blue Onion sleeve (a generic sleeve with a Blue Onion ink stamp on it) and the rare lyric sheet. The same ink stamp is on the label designating the A-side.
"Spy Girl" bears a certain resemblance to the Troggs' "Wild Thing". "Spy girl, you make my hair curl." Just a coincidence, of course!
I grade this record as EX (VG++). The lyric sheet has minor wrinkling and creasing, and the sleeve is worn and wrinkled, but not torn.
The following sound files are from the exact record that is offered. There is no processing or filtering to improve the sound or hide any issues.
