Description
"UNE CORDE, UN COLT" (1969) (aka "The Rope and the Colt" and "Cemetery Without Crosses"). Music by ANDRE HOSSEIN. A Robert Hossein picture out of France - his homage to Serge Leone. The score has a song with Hal Shaper's lyrics set to Hossein's Main Theme and called 'The Rope and the Colt', sung by SCOTT WALKER. The soundtrack is on the French PHILIPS Records label, number 844.932 BY. Other than some writing at the bottom of the back cover it is in LIKE NEW condition. Something unique with this LP is that the original owner of the album has made something of an inner sleeve from other materials. They include pictures from the picture pasted on a sleeve : a review of the movie (in French), and a 4 X 5 glossy still of three of the actors. This is homemade, but it is a nice addition to the album nonetheless. (NOTE: I am holding the 4 X 5 out since it is attached at one end, and picture three has some waviness as you can see). SIDE ONE: THE ROPE AND THE COLT (w SCOTT WALKER) - CONCERTO POUR GUITARE - RAGTIME - MARIA - MORT DE MARIA - HARMONICA LA NUIT. SIDE TWO: THEME D'AMOUR - CHEVAUCHEE DE MANUEL DANS LE DESERT - LA BOITE A MUSIQUE - THEME DE MANUEL ET MARIA - LE SALOON - GENERIQUE ORCHESTRE - LA VEILLEE (Harmonica) - THE ROPE AND THE COLT (Scott Walker) - VALSE LENTE.
