The Soundtrack from the Film The Song Remains the Same
European issue SWAN SONG, catalogue number SS 89 402 (SS 2-201) on spine and back cover but K 89 402 on centre labels. Double LP comes in textured gatefold cover with eight 12"X12" page booklet with artwork and colour photographs applied in the middle of the inner spread. Made in Germany by WEA Musik GmbH.

Made in Germany is a quality mark worldwide but this item is an exception with a manufacturing fault: two side 2 labels have been applied - first one as it should be, on the middle of the disc, and the second one folded in its middle and applied eccentric thus a part of the paper label has been glued on the ending grooves of the long track B1. A previous owner has tried to repair it and brought the most part of the paper label away but the most important part, the label rim on the track grooves, is glued so strong that nothing can help anymore. Consequence: the track B1 (Dazed and Confused) may not be played back entirely to the end, after several revolutions with loud crackling the stylus gets stuck and repeats.
This copy will be therefore sold as UNIQUE MISPRESS, caused by a factory fault on the side 2, described above. Sides 1, 3 and 4 may be played back without troubles.
Dieses Exemplar wird daher aufgrund des Fabrikfehlers auf der Seite 2, oben geschrieben, ausschließlich als UNIKATE FEHLPRESSUNG verkauft. Seiten 1, 3 und 4 können problemlos abgespielt werden.
