Great little rockin' bar band out of the south, the group was lead by Joe Stampley who would later achieve fame in the country music. This was their first LP and had their biggest hit "Not Too Long Ago" which got lots of regional airplay, but never caught on nationally. Lots of bayou conections on this album with songs by Aaron Neville and Roy Head and production by Dale Hawkins.
I'm also including a near mint promo 45 of Joe's re-recording of that hit song from the mid-seventies. It does have a bit more of a country feel to it, but the production is much better and the song actually sounds better.
