NURSE WITH WOUND / UNITED DAIRIES - ORIGINAL LETTER BY JOHN FOTHERGILL DATED 8/3/1981 Rare original 4-page letter from United Dairies label handwritten by John Fothergill, owner of the label and founder member of Nurse With Would. In the letter he gives information on releases UD 06 Various Artists - Hoisting The Black Flag LP, UD 07 Lemon Kittens - Cake Beast 12" and related artists Nurse With Wound / Whitehouse / Mendal Aardvarks / Paul Hamilton / David Cross / The Truth (as included in the UD 06 compilation) A great piece of experimental avant-garde punk & new wave memorabilia, 100% genuine, complete and in very nice condition size: A4 (4 pages - front and back on 2 papers) Condition VG+ Registered (with tracking & insurance) GBP5.80 in Greece, GBP7.50 all other countries

About United Dairies:
"United Dairies was founded in 1979 to release the first LP by Nurse With Wound. John Fothergill quickly started using the label to release other artists such as Lemon Kittens and Bombay Ducks and set up the side label Experimental Records to release more rock oriented music. The other member of NWW, Steven Stapleton found these releases to of poor quality, and eventually put his foot down when it came to the LP by Two Daughters which he insisted not be released on UD. Eventually, Stapleton took over the label when Fothergill retreated from musical activity"
