Universe - 1977 - Universe (PBR International #PBR-7002 USA 1977)
The Opening “Rock In The Sky” starts with a little acoustic guitar, then, WHAM! Synthesizers come in double barreled, with a loud bass-y one anchoring the song and a higher more unpredictable one solling over ti. This is a synthesizer song. It would only be a couple of years before digital synthesizers would rule the world and the instrument would ruin a lot of otherwise good music, so it’s hard to remember how cool the early analogue synthesizing could be. it’s as powerful and as mind expanding as any guitars. The mix of space-rock and Christian themes is unique, making this fall into the “I didn’t know Christians made music like that” category...

EX = only slight signs of wear; very clean, only light surface marks which will not distract
significantly from the sound…sleeve also has only slight wear, and is still in nice
collectible.
VG++ = played often with moderate surface wear and some moderate noise, still plays well…
sleeve may have medium overall wear or some ring wear.
VG+ = overall wear, but no skips of serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages…
sleeve is well worn, usually with considerable ring wear.
VG = plays a lot, heavy wear on record and cover…guarantee does not apply to vg- or worse
condition records.
