H.R. Challenger and the Beltones - "Poor Me" / "Baby That's Alright" b/w "Funky Power" - Tropical Recods QC1111 MONO.  Condition: "Funky Power" Side A: VG- (some light scratches that can be heard). "Poor Me"/"Baby That's Alright" Side B: VG. Ungoogleable entry: no discogs, no popsike history.  This is raw, rough, wild psych funk played by a band just barely keeping it together. Definitely at the extreme ends of musical taste, but for those listening at the end of the spectrum, this organic freakout is going to make you very happy. I have been digging for records in the city this was pressed in for 20 years and this is the first and only copy I've found, and presently the only copy to have ever surfaced on the world wide web. Very rare! I also have another unknown H.R. Challenger 45 up for auction as well, so check my other listings. My apologies for the low fidelity and echoey sound of the audio clip, it was captured with a cellphone while standing near the speakers... needless to say, this sounds way better in person!  Have a listen to Baby That's Alright here!  and Have a listen to Funky Power here! Do not miss this!
