Ultra rare 78 rpm shellac record, of London Jewish cantor A. Elefand, released by Polish music label Lonora Electro.
Ismechu Bemalchusechu - ישמחו במלכותך / Chasideszer Bim Bam - חסידישער בים באם.
Lonora Electro - 906. Apparently around 1930.
The title suggests Elefand was a Hassidic cantor.
Lonora-Electro was a small Polish record label operating in the 1930s until outbreak of the 2nd WW in Sept 1939. It was located on Wiktorska Street in Mokotów
There are no other recordings by this cantor anywhere!!! This specific shellac is not registered anywhere! No biographical information regarding the cantor!.
This might be the only surviving copy of this rare Judaica recording!!! Unicum item!!!
