Description

UNKNOWN ARTIST -- Love Poem/Morning Girl -- this is an apparently completely unknown and unreleased mid-1960's 7" Demo Acetate featuring two dreamy, downer Folk Psych numbers in the vein of early Donovan circa "To Try For The Sun" and "Catch The Wind," with Dylan-esque Folk Rock vocals, especially on the flip-side "Morning Girl."  Both songs quite good -- this was most likely an MCA Music publisher's demo, cut to interest other artists in covering these numbers and never intended for commercial release.  The A-side "Love Poem" is especially strong with evocative lyrics and a hushed, intimate vibe.  I can't find any information on this one, and the artist isn't identified by name (just the song titles), so it's anybody's guess as to who wrote & recorded these tracks.  In generic sleeve.  Record:  VG+/VG++, light surface wear, light background noise in spots from quality of original demo acetate, on MCA Music label, U.S. press.  For overseas buyers:  record must be sent with signature confirmation for delivery, many thanks.
