WOW WHAT A FIND !!! This is a RARE ORIGINAL UNRELEASED IMMEDIATE MUSIC DOUBLE SIDED DEMO ACETATE SINGLE, UK IMMEDIATE MUSIC / EMIDISC ACETATE PRESSING - PSYCH - ACETATE by THE EXCELSIOR SPRING (FINESILVER / KERR) from 1968, ORIGINAL UK UNRELEASED DEMO ACETATE PRESSING IN GREAT CONDITION !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - PSYCH - UNRELEASED DEMO ACETATE single that I SUSPECT IS THE ONLY ONE IN EXISTENCE !!! This is a RARE AND UNIQUE ACETATE from THE EXCELSIOR SPRING who were MIKE FINESILVER + PETER KER (KERR)  who were also song writers signed to IMMEDIATE MUSIC and wrote most of LOVE SCULPTURE output, THE CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN and also a great PSYCH single for ELLI on Parlophone in 1967 !!! Both of these tracks seem to be UNRELEASED, UNHEARD or KNOWN about until now !!!
THE EXCELSIOR SPRING released ONE AND ONLY single on INSTANT RECORDS I’m 1968 which was comped on the: INSTANT KARMA and PSYCHEDELIC ARCHIVES: UK PSYCHEDELIA VOL. 2 and REAL LIFE PERMANENT DREAM and WE CAN FLY 3 and THE IMMEDIATE ALTERNATIVE amongst many others !!! This ACETATE came from the IMMEDIATE MUSIC library which I bought and you can see the IMMEDIATE MUSIC labels were out on top of the original EMIDISC labels back in 1968 !!!

Here is a piece I found on the net about them: EXCELSIOR SPRING "Happy Miranda" b/w "IT" 1968 INSTANT (IMMEDIATE) Double A Side. "it" is one of the best UK Psych Pop songs! Studio Band of Songwriting team MICHEAL FINESILVER & PETER KER who wrote & played on songs for Indian singer ELLI MEYER, CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN/KINGDOM COME, BLUES SCULPTURE, HERON & FAUSTO LEALI!!  DIG THE FUZZ released all of their demo & single recordings with ELLI MEYER which is great, I wish there was more of these sessions of their own. Sadly like most…
You can hear clips from both sides on my Youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5g3K9szr7ec

The tracks are: IF I LEAVE YOU / NO NO NO NO.
The ACETATE was pressed by IMMEDIATE MUSIC on EMIDISC ACETATE.
The condition of the ACETATE is in EX+/ EX++ condition (PROBABLY UNPLAYED UNTIL NOW, BETTER THEN MOST ACETATE OF THIS AGE, light sleeve scuffs only, plays great with only mild crackle as ACETATES tend to have) !!!
