ORIGINAL 1971 UK Vertigo 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Large' Vertigo 'Spiral' label!!!! THIS LP IS RARE AND HARD TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE VERTIGO LABEL BACK IN 1971 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS - AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! IT IS ALSO THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, AND THE ULTRA RARE 'LARGE' VERTIGO 'SPIRAL' LOGO ON THE LABEL (SEE PICTURE!) - WHICH ALL LATER ONES SIMPLY DID NOT HAVE!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 UK VERTIGO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'LARGE' VERTIGO 'SPIRAL' LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, . 1st PRESS VERTIGO INNER SLEEVE, THIS SLEEVE IS WORN AS YOU CAN SEE IN PICTURE HAS A SPLIT A BOTTOM, BUT RECORD DOESN'T SHOW THROUGH BECAUSE OF INNER PLASTIC SEE THROUGH SLEEVE. GATEFOLD COVER SLEEVE AS YOU CAN SEE IS WORN AND TEARED WITH SPLIT. The Cat. No is 6360 028 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Large' Vertigo 'Spiral' Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear. Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. NOW THEN, THE VINYL I'M GOING TO GIVE IT A MODEST VERY GOOD PLUS(better than this I reckon). IT HAS AROUND 4 VISIBLE SCRATCHES WHICH ARE NOT DEEP OR RAISED THAT YOU CAN FEEL THEM. THIS DOES NOT EFFECT PLAY WHATSOEVER!!! PLAYS AWESOME. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL PRESSED LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!
The record plays with NO skips,NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!
