RH Top Opening Laminated Gatefold Sleeve.
Rare true first press of the classic Uriah Heep album. Issued in the UK in 1970 on the original Spiral Vertigo label.
The vinyl has by appearance only been played reasonably lightly, and retains a lush, deep sheen with only the lightest marks visible when viewed beneath a strong light source. Looks excellent. Both labels are perfect in appearance, no marks or writing, no scuffs or scratches and only light spindle marks visible but no wear around the hole at all. On play, both sides are audibly excellent, with only seldom light crackling, which is most probably dust. The sound quality is, as you would expect from the earliest press, outstanding and truly does the album justice. Great copy.
The album cover is in excellent shape, no stains, marks or writing only very, very light wear and a small area of bubbling to the laminate on the rear side wear a small label once was. The spine is in excellent shape with barely any wear at all, the lettering clearly legible. The inner sides and spine are perfect. Overall fantastic condition.
A great opportunity to pick up a top copy of a very rare Uriah heep first press.
