Fantastically Displayable Marine Corps Collectible LP.. "SOUNDS OF PARRIS ISLAND" Looks like circa 1959-60...  

Collectible, displayable, private/ souvenir/ small label issue deep groove labels GOLD STAR RECORDING, NYC, Brass Labels..  Recorded live at Parris Island, South Carolina....  Between Korea and The Vietnam Conflicts...  Only Egypt, Lebanon,  Cuba, and Thailand saw Marines invade during this period...  Fantastic audio verite/ musique concrete / sampling item...Authentic sounds include: "TRAIN TO PARRIS ISLAND, RECEIVING SGT., PROCESSING, THE DRILL INSTRUCTOR, RIFLEMAN'S CREED, BEDDING DOWN, HEAD CALL, JUDO INSTRUCTION, BAYONET PRACTICE, GRADUATION, THE MARINE CORPS HYMN" and many more...  Condition of the jacket; NM, very attractive.  Condition of the vinyl; VG+, some wear/ light scuffs, looks like some pen on one label (might ve a printed error.

Records are graded per "GOLDMINE" standards: SS= Still Sealed...
