ALBERT AYLER - In Greenwich Village (Impulse A-9155, France 1969/70)
An excellent and legendary free jazz album from this famous great jazz sax player - recorded in December 1966 at the "Village Vanguard, NYC" (side II) and in February 1967 at the "Village Theatre, NYC" (side I) - here as French original pressing, released on the "black / orange Impulse BIEM" label - comes in a thick, front laminated gatefold US styled cover Was released 2-3 years later as in the USA (so 1969/79)........... Matrix numbers are: AS 9175A 21 / M6 2620 20 on side one and AS 9155 B 21 / M6 2620 21 on side two.......
The record is in top excellent plus (ex+) condition,........
The gatefold cover is also in top excellent plus (ex+) condition......
