ARCHIE SHEPP - On This Night (Impulse A-97 / AS-97, USA 1965)
An excellent and legendary hard bop / free jazz album from this jazz legend - recorded in March & August 1965 at the "Van Gelder Studios In New Jersey" and released the same year on the "black / orange Impulse" label - comes in thick front laminated gatefold cover Matrix numbers are: AS-97 A  /  AS-97 B and VAN GELDER also stamped on both sides.........


The record is in very good to very good plus (vg/vg+) condition,........showing several paper scuffs, (a few longer) hairlines and showing a "needle run" / surface mark (NOT feelable) through the whole side 2 - plays with some soft surface cracklings in places - but NOT in a very loud or disturbing way........
The gatefold cover is in very good plus (vg+) condition......showing some signs of age like tiny wear on corners, some marks / lines / surface scratches, especially on back cover.........little gripped and has a tiny "old moisty" smell (especially on the inner sleeve)......
