Description

TOP DRAWER - Solid Oak ( Wishbon / Resurrection CX1185 / 83615 ), USA 1972 / 1984
This band came from Mansfield / Ohio and released in 1972 one of the most sought after and rarest psych rock albums in 1972 on the "Wishbon" label. 12 years later, a 2nd authorized edition was released through the "Resurrection" company (the company is not named on cover or label) - also only in tiny quantities, in original "thick US styled" cover design. Only on the back cover on the bottom is noticed "Special thanks to Nicholas Montagna for help with second pressing". The number "83615" is noticed on the label, while the "CX1185" number is stamped in the matrix. Although the 1st edition is nearly impossible to find (and when to pay....) this 2nd pressing is also long vanished from the market.
Musically an excellent top heavy psych rock album with strong guitar work - the opening tremendous moody psych track "Song For A Sinner" in one for the "lonely Island"............
The cover is in top excellent plus to mint minus (ex+/m-) condition
