Pink Floyd 10 inch acetate : Obscured by Clouds
Rare find. This acetate contains the first 3 songs of the regular album and about 1:17 of the fourth song. On the back side there is a short recording of a funny trumpet orchestra. No Pink Floyd we strongly believe.
We've played this once on our thorens TD 124 with MC cartridge and made a recording in MP3. The sound is clear and rich. The acetate shows some wear and has a small scratch and hairlines. But, plays great.
We suspect this acetate has been made for testing the equipment. It can not be a production acetate (size, half song). As far as we can judge the normal songs and mixes. No alternative mixes nor sound. Probably only one worldwide made ever.
