MUSIC FROM
J.R.R. TOLKIEN'S
THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING
BY
GAIL ALDRICH
AND FRIENDS
Certainly One of the Rarest Lps Associated with J.R.R. Tolkien and "THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING"
This Privately Pressed Lp was presented by Aldrich to Prof.J.R.R.Tolkien whose "LORD OF THE RINGS" has been of major inspiration and enjoyment: and to United Artist Corp. as a demonstration record. Aldrich's brilliant effort here was a showcase lobbying to persuade the film company to do the music for the film adaptation. The number of Lps produced was incredibly small - research shows perhaps as few as five were pressed. (www.tolkienshop.com) Tolkien Museum, Leiden, Netherlands (Holland)
