Description
Very rare pressing of Phoenix United on vinyl.
The media plays without any flaws. It is graded at Excellent/Very Good Plus. While it has some smudges and marks from the manufacturing/pressing/lacquering process, it plays great without any issue.
The cover has some scuffs and scratches on both sides, and corner wear (this how the item was shipped to me, see pictures). For this reason, the cover is graded as "Good" because of the cover markings on the following scale:
Grading Scale : NM ?EX?EX-?VG+?VG?G?Poor
Since the cover has some wear, I am starting the opening bid far lower than the value that the record usually sells for. The media plays greats, the cover is a little rough.
The reason the cover is rough is because it is the oversized "American 70s style" sleeve that shipped with the VERY FIRST pressing.
The oversized '70's American Style' sleeve came out first, and according to the band, these should have all been re-called by the record label and re-packaged in the 2nd style sleeve. The record company or distributer panicked that record shops wouldn't be able to rack the oversized sleeve.
