Description
King EA-20. Bye Bye Love / Shish Kebab. This is a Japanese vocal recording from the King Record Company of Tokyo. I'm sorry, I don't know the artists. A-side is a cover of the Everly Brothers hit, sung in Japanese and English. The flip is also a vocal, sung entirely in Japanese. The music sounds a bit like the Ralph Marterie instrumental of the same name, released in 1957. (The writer's credit is "J. Skelton"). The record comes with a thin paper sheet with the titles on the front and the lyrics printed on the back. The record itself is enclosed in a heavier paper sleeve as seen in the above scans. All inside a clear plastic outer sleeve. All are in excellent condition. The vinyl plays a strong VG++. You may hear a sound sample from both sides of the record here:
