Description

An original 1st press of YOURSELF on UK Bronze from 1971. Matrix A1U/B1U. Stampers 1P/2-RL. Etching 'Porky'. Really nice heavy vinyl. Note the labels mention distribution by Island at the foot. The vinyl comes housed in an original gimmick cover with mirror [printed by E J Day].  There's also the original and genuine inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is the 1st variant with square corners and exposed flipbacks. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In super condition and has only seen reasonably light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. An absolute cracker of a copy. It has only seen light use. Which means any mega Uriah fan is going to be able to hear JULY MORNING straight from the original masters - with clarity. I'm struggling to make out any background. Nothing more than a few crackles in one isolated spot per side e.g. in WSBDone. Hearing YOURSELF on a clean 1st pressing is - highly recommended!
Cover (Vg) Not up to the standard of the vinyl, but given the fragility of this cover design - still more than acceptable. Firstly - that die-cut mirror section is in decent condition with just a miniscule split bottom right corner. A bit of light handling wear front and back and some light tape residue at the corners [not sticky at all]. Edge wear is actually pretty slight and the openings are still nice and firm. The text is still legible - bit the spine has folded in making it less easy to observe. Overall the cover retains very good structural integrity.
Inner (Vg-) Please note - there is moderate foxing observable. Bottom edge has been taped up.
