Description

Here I have for sale my Uriah Heep, Look at yourself classic rock album. 1971 Bronze label ILPS 9169 with original Lyric inner sleeve.

A matrix number is intended for the internal use of the record manufacturing plant, but they are also studied and documented by record collectors, as they can sometimes provide useful information about the edition of the record.

Matrix is Side 1 A-1U with Porky etched in the run off. Side 2 B-1U

Hidden messages

Record collectors have often been amused to find hidden messages inscribed in the run-out area. The vast majority of these are the work of George Peckham, a disc cutting engineer in the UK who possibly cut hundreds of thousands of records for many record companies over several decades from the 1960s onward, and often signed his cuts "Porky"

The cover is in VG++ condition only because the mirror shows some white marks otherwise excellent. The white marks are not the mirror pealing and I have seen them on other Look at Yourself albums for sale on Ebay so can not explain.

Vinyl is Excellent few very minor marks that do not affect sound. I have played and the album comes with no issues.

Inner Lyric sleeve is in excellent condition
