VERTIGO SWIRL 1st UK Press MEGA RARE Ex
Details:- My late father was one of the original Polydor super Jocks and later reviewer for Polydor records. It's unclear where this small batch of LPs originated from as my mother has only just unearthed them. They are all first pressings with correct inner sleeves and to my eye look to be virtually unplayed how ever each one will be graded on the LOOK of the vinyl as I'm not comfortable playing these records because of the conditions. I WILL ASK THAT YOU STUDY EACH AND EVERY PICTURE FOR A TRUE IMPRESSION OF THE COVER. I have taken some very close pictures of the corners and for scale purposes I have added a pencil in each frame.
MEGA RARE MUCH SOUGHT AFTER ORIGINAL SWIRL 1st UK PRESS OF SALISBURY BY URIAH HEEP. RELEASED 1971 ON THE ORIGINAL VERTIGO SWIRL LABEL 6360028.
The Record Is Housed In The ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE (month and year dated see picture) And Unlaminated Gatefold Sleeve.
Matrix details are: A Side 6360028 1Y*1 420 1 3, B-side 6360028 2Y*1 1 5.
THIS RARE RECORD WILL BE SHIPPED SIGNED FOR ONLY.
Vinyl Condition:- THE RECORD IS IN SUPERB CONDITION. VISUALLY EX (only 1 very feint surface mark on side 1 beginning of track 2 otherwise would have been a strong MINT Minus).
Sleeve Condition:- EX . The Front and Back are pretty much PERFECT with no creasing or old sticker marks or tears. Inside the gatefold their are TWO small areas of White speckles (appears to be on almost every copy i researched). Otherwise PERFECT.
No real wear along any of the edges, Some wear to the corners (As can be see in pictures. CLOSE UP PICTURES the wear is quite small)
The Spine is Crisp and Fully Readable.
The Black and White Swirl Inner is Crist sharp with no creasing or browning it has the correct DATE CODE STAMPED To show the inner is the original one for the album.
Label Condition: Nice Clean Labels. No Wear Around The Spindle Hole And Just A Few Fine Wispy Spindle Marks
