Description
Vertigo Records 6360 006 VG/VG+ STEREO 1970. Matrix nos. 6360 006 1Y1 420/2Y 1 420 UK original album pressed on the famous Vertigo swirl label. NOTE, 420 in matrix designates UK pressing. Also, a RARE UK pressing with composers credits on the label. The debut album from Uriah Heep featuring David Byron on vocals, heavy organ from Ken Hensley and of course the timeless Mick Box on screaming lead guitar A monster classic record, songs include, Gypsy, Come Away Melinda, Lucy Blues, and others. The laminated gatefold cover is very clean, some back, water damage has caused a bottom slice. The vinyl is super shiny and very clean, has some light scuffs. The labels are super clean. !!! NICE!!

I specialize in selling PROMOTIONAL albums in rock n' roll and jazz from the 1960's and 1970's. PROMO albums are usually pressed from the original master tapes in an extremely limited quantity, and are 1ST pressings!!! Many are issued with white labels, others have radio timing strips on the cover, just a promo sticker or gold cover stamps. Given out selectively to radio stations before the stock release, they generally have superior sound quality, are RARE, collectable, and getting VERY SCARCE!!!
PLEASE NOTE: I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine, if necessary. I pack ALL records carefully. Records are placed outside of the record cover in a clear plastic record sleeve. Albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box.
