Description

Here we have two rare 1949 Test pressings of V-Discs. The first, numbered 1108, features Joe Bushkin and Bobby Hackett and the Raymond Scott Quintet.

The second test pressing ,numbered 1112, features Jack Fina and his band. Both are red vinyl, 12" discs. Condition are EX- minus with a few scuffs on the Fina side. These are one sided records, dated March 24, 1949 and in remarkable shape for 66 year records that were meant for military radio stations and scheduled to be destroyed when the need was gone. I do not know if these discs contain issued V-Disc material or outtakes. Either way, these are surely pieces of recorded military history.

Both are in what appears their original paper sleeves. Please ask any questions prior to bidding and take a look at what other items I have on ebay right now!
