A treasured possession of mine FROM NEW, it hasn’t been played for many many years, Although I haven’t played this since the late sixties, I would say that, according to an Ebay Record Grading Guide/Record Collector Magazine, this single is in Excellent/VG condition:
The record shows NO signs of having been played on either side. The cover and packaging the original Major Minor sleeve is in fantastic condition with minor discoloring and tiny creasing you would expect from a record 53 years old. The sleeve is in great condition with no tears or marks
The centre label is in excellent condition with no spindle marks..
Altogether both record and sleeve are in virtually mint condition for their age.
I have treated this record as a treasured possession since buying it back in 1968 and I think the condition reflects that. I don’t have any equipment I would feel comfortable testing it out on but I can say that the last time it was played, so long ago, it played fine. This is a reluctant sale and I would like it to go to a good home where it will continue to be treasured and appreciated.
