Description
Here is the rare 1984 compilation called 91X Local Heroes. It was released by the San Diego radio station 91X in limited quantities. This is an essential record for fans of minimal electronic music for the lo-fi analogue electronic classic "Distant Memories" by Shades of May. This duo of brothers would later be known as Red Flag and release some classic synthpop albums. There are some other good new wave and post punk songs here, as well as a live version of the Beat Farmers' novelty wave classic "Happy Boy". The cover is VG+ with minor ring wear; the vinyl is NM with only some light surface marks.
The songs are: GLORY HOUSE: You'll Always be There (The Reading), THE D-FENDANTS: Empty Pockets, LAWS OF MOTION: Massive Doses, SHADES OF MAY: Distant Memories, MOJO NIXON & SKID ROPER: Ain't Got Nobody, MARTY ELDRIDGE: Purple Heart, THE NEAT: In a Daydream, THE PLAYGROUND SLAP: Pictures of Age, THE BEAT FARMERS: Lost Weekend/Happy Boy (live)

I have LOTS and LOTS more records to come! Buy now, buy next week, and the week after that, and after that, and then wait a week, and then buy more!!!
I can ship multiple items at once, of course (for just a little bit more per each additional item). And I can wait to ship items if there are more items you're interested in bidding on! If you win multiple items, please wait for me to send the invoice (so you don't pay too much for shipping).
All records are shipped in secure carboard packages, are well-padded, and ship with the records outside of the sleeves and stored in a plastic outer sleeve to ensure safe delivery in the same condition in which they leave my house.
