This is an Midwest Garage LP Compilation of " The Big Hits Of Mid-America, Vol. 2" on Soma Records, MG 1246, Mono, Yellow Label; issued in 1965. One of the best of Midwest Garage LP's from the Midwest in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota area from the 60's. It comes with some cool pics & bio's of the bands on the back cover (The Castaways, High Spirits, Chancellors & Gestures). 12 great tracks in Mono: Liar, Liar - The Castaways; Yo-Yo - The Chancellors; Tossin' And Turnin' - The High Spirits; Run, Run, Run - The Gestures; So Fine - The Chancellors; Candlelight - The Gestures; (Turn On Your) Love Light - The High Spirits; Little Latin Lupe Lu - The Chancellors; Sam - The Castaways; Don't Mess Around - The Gestures; I'm A Man - The Chancellors; It Seems To Me - The Gestures. The Record is in VG+++ condition with a few light scuffs; Plays VG+++ to Near New. The Cover is in VG condition, with the front cover having a large stain near the bottom center, several spots on the left & right sides and someone's name written on the right near upper side & a small seam split of 1" on the bottom center; the back cover is in very clean shape being in VG++ or better.
