Description

This is my EX / EX  condition UK ORIGINAL PINK ISLAND LABEL / ORANGE 'EYE' copy of this RARE SOUL / R&B LP - ILPS 976. A CLASSIC ISLAND compilation of Blues and Soul, drawn from the Duke & Peacock USA labels, featuring the likes of Bobby Bland, Roy Head and O.V.Wright amongst others. The vinyl is in great general shape with just a few light surface marks and it plays great with hardly any noise, only in the quiet bits / between the tracks, but again very light!. A clean on a modern machine would produce a great copy! The pink labels are clean and tidy with only a couple of visible spindle marks. The laminated front sleeve is in great shape and four light laminate creases near the record opening. The rear of the cover is non-laminted white card and it is still WHITE. The spine is firm, strong and fully readable. A great sleeve! A GREAT COPY OF THIS RARE COMPILATION!
