Original 1969 U.S. stereo press of LP on United Artists label
Valhalla ( self titled)
CONDITION:
heavy gatefold cover: VG++ to Excellent
lite shelf wear ~ lite wear to edges & corners ~ lite crease upper right
faint beginning of early lite ring ~ cut corner lower left
vinyl: Excellent
super clean with high gloss ~ a lite storage mark across 1st cut of side 1
~ superficial surface ~ nothing that affects play at all ~
plays excellent with just 1 or 2 occasional odd soft clicks

United Artists managed to sign several good groups
(Thunder and Roses, Boffalongo, Pookah for example) but never
gave them much promotion. Led by Mark Mangold who composed their material,
Valhalla is another of these forgotten groups and
their album deserves to be rediscovered.
It mixes heavy rock, prog and psych with a predominant organ and powerful vocals
with tracks like Psychedelic Minds Going Nowhere and Overseas Symphony.
