Description
VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR "THE LEAST WE CAN DO IS WAVE TO EACH OTHER" Charisma Records, CAS 1007, UK 1970. This is the Mad Hatter edition of The Famous Charisma Label, manufactured by B&C Records. CLASSIC edition of VDGG recorded at Trident Studios in December 1969! Fold out poster is in excellent condition and does not suffer from any additional folding. Also included in this auction is the insert/lyric sheet from the Japanese re-release edition of this record. Needless to say the English to Japanese back to English translation is 'unique'!
Record is visually graded near mint, play graded VG+ on our very sensitive Linn LP12/Rega RB300/Shelter 501 analogue setup. Not to worry as there's certainly no slight crackle nor tics/pops during the many intensely loud passages! Cleaned on a VPI PRO machine prior to grading. Cover is graded VG+ due to slight ringwear and inkwear on seams. Nothing bad. They sure don't make 'em like this any more! RARE.
