Van Der Graaf Generator The Least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other LP UK Charisma CAS 1007 from 1970.

Not only original Pink Scroll Charisma label but 1st UK issue with matt label and A2B2 matrix. 

No poster but this is not so hard to find,compared to several similar posters of that era.

Condition is fine-some mild general ageing such as some small losses along the edges of the gatefold cover

and extremes of the spine and the beginnings of ring wear on the back only-the disc has a fine clean sheen

with a couple of mild hairlines and a couple of similar marks toward the end of each side that do not affect

the sound quality.Thats all the stuff-nothing really bad at all .

That leaves a totally clean original gatefold album cover with no writing,tears,stickers etc.And  an excellent disc

with a few mild marks that do not bring the sound quality down.Spindle play is barely visible and this is always

a good indicator of an LP that has not been played too much.On top of that its a UK 1st issue of their 1st Charisma release.

(Parallels with Genesis are amazing-both had a 1st LP on a different label in the 1960s but the real stuff started with Charisma

in 1970.Both were mega in Italy immediatley whilst still very much a cult band here in UK and both were arguably the 2 main bands

to propel the new Charisma label in 1970.)
