Description
1970 very first earliest UK pressing of prog rock masterpiece with the mega rare and very different withdrawn mix by Shel Talmy. Very first Matrix / Runout machine-stamped - sideA): CAS +1007+A2 & side B): CAS +1007+B2 with textured labels The first withdrawn mix had no"G" in the run-out
Gatefold sleeve has a little edge, spine and ring wear. There is a price sticker tear on the front and writing inside the gatefold, but the writing states ' 1st album released summer 70, saw them 13 Feb 71 4 piece. Nick Potter left in an 71'. Personally I think this is an interesting footnote from the original owner rather than a blemish. The vinyl has several noticeable scuffs but nothing deep. Thankfully it plays reasonably well with a little surface noise and the odd click and pop here and there but nothing that is overbearing .
IMPORTANTPLEASE READ: The record shall besent to the lucky winner very well packaged and correctly stored outside of thesleeve. I ONLY SEND ITEMS REGISTERED! Noexceptions! Collection for cash iswelcomed. Shipping to UK is £5.30 first class signed for, to the EU is£13 tracked and to the rest of the world is £19 tracked. If you are nothappy with the postage costs then please do NOT bid! I only use LP boxes that fit 1 or 2 records,so each item won will be sent individually unless you are willing to pay forthe extra packaging. Please bear this inmind before bidding on more than one item. The postage costs may seem high but I actually make a loss. Royal Mail has recently increased theirprices and I am forced to send registered due to Ebay’s policy of alwaysrefunding the buyer if the item should go ‘missing’. Unfortunately, Ebay now take 10% of allpostage costs in the final fee and Paypal take a further 5%. Tracked mail to the EU costs £12 andworldwide costs £17. So, the postagecost plus 15% is £12 + £1.80 = £13.80 and £17 + £2.55 = £19.55. This means I am in fact under charging and notpassing on the cost for packaging or my time and I am often waiting for over 40minutes in a busy Post Office. Therefore,I will not lower the postage price, please do not ask. Any other questions please enquire.
