Original 1978 promo copy of Van Halen's debut. Over 10 million copies sold (Diamond Album) make this one of the best-selling albums of all-time. Here's a rare first edition pressing in as good a shape as a used album from 1978 could realistically be.

Label & catalog number: Warner Bros. BSK 3075

Front cover condition: NM to VG+ / Slight corner wear; very slight ring wear (please view photos/scans to make your own judgement).

Back cover condition: VG+ / A little more ring wear drops the back's condition down a notch (see photos/scans).

Side 1 condition: NM to VG+ / A few light spindle marks around the center hole are the only sign of it being played. Disc contain some circular pressing marks about one inch in from outer rim on both sides, which was standard for vinyl pressed in that era.

Side 2 condition: NM to VG+ / same as Side 1

Paper Sleeve: Original picture sleeve. One small piece of scotch tape used to fix disc tear through point in the sleeve.

Comments: Disc label is standard "Burbank palm tree blvd." design of that era. Rare first pressing promo album of one of the most famous metal albums of all-time. A true rarity in this condition.
