VAN MORRISON ''ASTRAL WEEKS '' VINYL LP. A UK 1ST A-2 *T / B-2 *T stamped matirices' WARNER BROS. ORANGE LABEL WS 1768 . YEAR 1968.
VINYL VG- HAIRLINE AND OTHER LIGHT MARKINGS ~ PLAYTESTED ~ Mild 'rustle' on run-ins . Very light surface noise in patches, only the odd pip . Run-in to Side 1 skips into track and kinda misses a millisecond. tested Linn Ittok 1.8g arm / Linn Asan C2100 head.
Original inner sleeve , discolour and a seam coming away. ( Patent. No. 1,072,844)
FRONT LAMINATED FLIPBACK SLEEVE VG . Has creasing and ringwear . General shelfwear and some discolour to rear . no major problems , small wear on spine but fully readable.
I use the Record Collector's Grading System ; VG(-) : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch . Normal wear and tear on covers or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable .
