Cover: Laminated front (unlaminated rear) non-gatefold 1st pressing Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Triple rear flip-backs and WS 1768 catalogue number on the rear. No writings, doodles or seam splits and no missing pieces from the flip-backs. Light wear to corners. Nice clear spine. Some light laminate creasing to front cover - see photo. Excellent condition for its age.
Inner sleeve: Comes in its original poly-lined inner sleeve - UK patent no. 1,072,844 with "Foreign Patents Pending" text - which is in Excellent physical condition - just has a couple of grubby marks on one side.
Vinyl: Play tested. Looks VG+ with some light feathering and a few hairlines - no feelable scratches. There is some crackle at the beginning of each side, in between tracks and in the quieter moments. There are some pops now and again. The crackle gets less as the music progresses. No skips/jumps on my system. Plays VG(-) to VG on playback. Not mint or even Excellent - but a reasonable pressing given that it is now 42 years old. Might improve with a professional clean.
Labels: Excellent+

Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
