Description
Up for auction is a super rare promo pressing of the Van Morrison album Tupelo Honey, originally released in the U.S. on Warner Bros. (WS 1950) in 1971:
-Guaranteed original 1A first pressing -White label promotional labels
-Original foil hype sticker on front cover
-Includes original poster
-Original gatefold paste-down cover -No UPC/bar code on cover -Includes correct 1971 WB inner sleeve -Vinyl comes in separate audiophile poly-lined inner sleeve
Note:
Poster is in excellent condition, no pin holes or tape marks, looks like it's never been displayed. Light signs of age along fold creases, some faint foxing on reverse but nothing serious. No tears or repairs. Still very nice.
Condition: Cover is in nice condition, still has much of its original shine. No ring wear, no seam splits. Interior is clean. A couple corners show some moisture damage (see photos). Still a very attractive original! Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Vinyl is also very nice, still retains its original glossy shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, just a couple faint superficial hairlines from having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a few times. No marks around spindle holes. Looks like it's been played maybe only a couple times at most, but handled with care. Very nice original! Grade: Excellent (EX)
