Description

Collecting over the years I've always managed to get the best copies, and very often I did. Now is time to sell. This is also an introduction to my Grading System, which concerns more the sound than the visual  (hairlines, scuffs etc.) As a collector I know what you want. So I use a conservative grading to avoid any hassles. What I mean is what is graded VG by me is a STRONG VG.
And now the item description:
VARIOUS ARTISTS - A Factory Sample Factory, FAC-2, UK, 1979
Genuine or Fake ? This is the question. I've purchased this one from an ebay auction ended the 29 Jan 2006. You can check out the auction details on POPSIKE Site. What can I say more ? - The Sleeve is housed in a plastic bag more than in a shrink bag - The Stickers didn't have any writings on back - I've tried, but i can't read FAC-2A on the A Side (am I almost blind ? it can be) On the other hand: - The vinyls have the serrated edge around the Label - When taking the pictures I saw on B and D sides a white spot invisible to the eye so, for these Sides, I took two pictures, taken from a different angle. Then I realized that was a matter of 'translucency' typical of Factory / Joy Division releases.
The only informations I have about this item came from Discogs and Joy Division Central sites. I'd love to read any teviews on Record Collector magazine.
