TITLE/ARTIST: Hello again - please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is another of those Various Artists LP`s put together by Capitol Records in 1964, and reflects back on many of the great songs and artists - and it even comes with an original Capitol Records company sleeve that advertises a lot of other LPs of their's from that time. This particular LP showcases the hit songs of both British and US performers and is even more special because two of the songs are done by The Beatles (see pics above). Other big name artists include The Beach Boys, Peter and Gordon, Cilla Black, Al Martino, and Nat King Cole - singing their hit songs from these early years of the "British Invasion". It is yet another album in very good overall condition - especially the vinyl - and is entitled "The Big Hits From England and USA" (see the pictures above for all of the song titles and more). FYI, I have also listed two other similar "various artists" LPs in this week's auction as well, so feel free to check them out as well. LABEL INFO: This original, rainbow bordered, Capitol Records label (T2125), in MONO, is in great shape and just about perfect - it doesn't even show any spindle lines around the center circle, which strongly indicates very light play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, this same condition is true with the vinyl - it appears to be almost "like new" and virtually unplayed. JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket - with pictures of all the performers LP releases on the back side - is mostly good, but definitely not perfect either. There are a couple scuff marks along parts of the seams and in the corner areas, as well as some signs of "dirt or aging" and/or early ring wear in other areas of the front side only. It appears to me that any and all of this could be cleaned up with the right cleaner. Otherwise, it too is just fine. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this "oldies" LP is one interesting piece to say the least - since it has two Beatles' cuts - so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned 50's-60's LPs from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed 45's/LP's are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
