Description
A great opportunity to buy a FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP from the 1960s by Various Artists called "Tighten Up".
This is a U.K. pressing released in 1969 on the orange Trojan label label (TTL 1) (mono) and has 12 tracks (see photos for artists and track listings).
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- TTL+1+A1 (side one) and TTL+1+B1 (side two).
The vinyl is in a lovely clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are just a few light surface marks evident, but nothing that detracts from the sound quality. I have played the whole of both sides and apart from the odd click, they play fine and sound great.
The labels are clean and free from any writing, stickers or major defects. There are hardly any spindle marks visible on either side.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The vinyl is housed within a poly-lined die-cut inner sleeve in a VERY GOOD condition considering its age.
The front-laminated cover is in an EXCELLENT condition. The edges and spine are still strong and the printing on the spine is still readable. There is the original U.K. price sticker on the front cover. The back cover is basically clean and unmarked.
This is a collectable FIRST PRESSING TROJAN LP and should be of interest to avid collectors.
