VARIOUS ARTISTS-THE NOVA CONVENTION 1979 GIORNO POETRY SYSTEMS RECORDS GATEFOLD 2 LP'S GPS-015 IN A GOOD+(cover)-VG++ CONDITION. CLEAN VINYL X 2!! A spoken word convention like no other attracting both the luminaries of literature and music together to read their works to the world. The poetry is modern but very effective in the messages. Some of the artists that came to the convention are William S. Burroughs, Patti Smith, Frank Zappa, Philip Glass, Allen Ginsberg, Laurie Anderson & Timothy Leary. For the fan of modern poetry, this is an essential!!
The records are both in a solid VG++ condition, nice and clean, both play well throughout. The cover has a couple of issues as there is a mouth to center tear of 3" on the top of the second sleeve and a 3" mouth to center split on the bottom edge of the first sleeve. On the spine, in the center is a 1/2" split, minor wear on the remaining edges and minor rubs on the corners. Both sleeves still hold the record however so that is Good went to Good+. One of the original inner sleeves has a small split. A fantastic buy if you can live with the condition of the cover.
