SHIPPING & HANDLING RATES:

LP SHIPPING IN THE USA:

• In the Continental US, 1 record is $6 for priority mail & each additional record is $1 extra.


• $3 for media rate mail & each additional record is 50 cents.


• Alaska and Hawaii please add $1 to total for priority, or $.50 for media mail.

LP SHIPPING FOR FOREIGN CUSTOMERS:

• Airmail postage to Canada is $6 for 1 LP, $1 each additional LP.


• Surface to Canada is $4.50 for 1 LP, $1 each additional LP.


• Airmail postage to Europe is $12 for 1 LP, $2 each additional LP.


• Airmail postage to Japan/New Zealand/Australia is $13 for 1 LP & $2 each additional LP. If you are ordering more than 6 LPs, I may have to ship via Air Parcel Post. In that case I will contact you with the correct amount of postage.

USA 7" SINGLE SHIPPING:

  • Airmail postage to Canada is $4 for 1 7" & $5 for 2 7" singles.
  
  
  • Airmail postage worldwide is $6.50 for 1 7" , $8.00 for 2, $9.00 for 3, $10.00 for 4, and $11 for 5-6.
  
  
  • Please note that all shipping for 7" records is based on estimated postage cost plus a $1 handling fee, which I add mostly to cover the cost of mailers.

  GRADING:  Records are graded under a 100 watt lamp.   Basically, it breaks down like this:
  

  Near Mint (NM)  Appears unplayed.  Sleeve appears never to have held a record.

  Excellent (EX)  Appears played infrequently and carefully.  Perhaps unplayed but shopworn.  Full gloss.  Any noise will likely be a flaw in the pressing rather than wear.  Sleeves will have only minor imperfections such as tiny bit of wear at the opening, or slightly dinged corner.

  Very good plus (VG+)  A number of light marks (no gouges or deep scratches) or groove wear, or possibly a combination of the two.  Obviously either well-loved or not especially well-cared for.  Some surface noise is likely.  Sleeve has significant fraying or ring wear and/or dinged corners.

  Very Good (VG)  Record has not been stored in a sleeve.  Considerable marks and loss of surface sheen.  Perhaps a deep scratch or two.  No skips.  Sleeve has ugly tears, writing, etc.

          Good (G) Not good.

• MAILING: We ship everything in new mailers.  The records are removed from the jacket to avoid seam splits. Records and jackets will be placed in plastic bags. Cardboard padding will be used when necessary to avoid bending. In short, we recognize that these are objects of art, and will make every reasonable effort to assure that they arrive at your place in the same condition they were when they left.

  INSURANCE:   Absolutely required on orders over $50. US cost is $1.00 for each 100 dollars of insurance (or fraction thereof).  Worldide is $2.00 for first $100 plust $2.00 for each $100 of insurance or fraction thereof.  Please note that I use a non-USPS agent to insure your packages (Endicia) so there will be no markings indicating the value of the contents on the outside of the package.  This is in accordance with Endicia's policy.  However, rest assured that your package is insured if you paid for it.

  PAYMENT: We like Paypal a lot.  Payment is expected within 10 days unless other arrangements are made. After 10 days, I will send you a reminder. If I don't hear from you within 10 days after that, either to make payment or tell me what's up, you will receive negative feedback. Also: I try to get to the post office 2-3 times a week. Sometimes I only get there once.
