LP : Vincent Bell With Orchestra ?– Pop Goes The Electric Sitar
Original US stereo pressing from 1967 on Decca, DL 74938, original black label with color band in the middle. Extensive liner-notes on the back. Obscure record ft. Vincent Bell who invented the electric sitar in collaboration with the CORAL company, he also invented some of the guitar models for DANELECTRO and he was a pioneer in using and also inventing electronic guitar effect boxes. On this one he plays some pop-hits of the day, a nice BEATLES cover version of Eleanor Rigby, some exotica- and movie-themes, some lounge and more. Some is real weird, some comic and some real cool, e.g. the BEATLES track where Bell really freaks out at the end. Dope sounds by the electrositar. Condition: the record looks & plays in mint-. The cover shows just slightest shelfwear ( slight ringwear ), all seams/spine are intact without rub; overall mint--.
Zustand: die LP ist optisch & akkustisch in mint-. Das Cover hat nur allerleichteste Lagerspuren ( etwas ringwear), alle Kanten sind intakt und ohne Abrieb; insgesamt in mint--. Für eine original 1967er US Pressung ein wirklich ungewöhnlich hervorragender Zustand von LP & Cover. alle Platten habe ich professionell gereinigt und angehört (meist ganz, manchmal in Ausschnitten). Kommen mit neuer Außen- & Innenhülle !

the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

I also visually graded the record in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve
