Legendary pre-punk / psych punk / LSD punk classic. eBay prices: $125 + €87 + $100. You are bidding on the original first 'Made In Germany' pressing from 1971. First pressing means the label etiquettes are blue/gold (see scan). Issued on the MGM label (catalogue number 2006 067). This German model was released under the name ANDY WARHOL'S VELVET UNDERGROUND and both tracks were composed by Lou Reed. The A-sider features the all-time classic anthem 'I'm Waiting For The Man'. As you know this track was covered by British punk bands EATER in 1977, SLAUGTHER & THE DOGS in 1978 and the UK SUBS in 1980, as well as being a favourite of David Bowie. which he recorded on several occasions, including 4 times for the BBC, though only 3 were broadcast. The equally superb 'There She Goes Again' appears on the flip. The beautiful LIPS AND COKE popart style picture sleeve was created by Andy Warhol and was taken from the 2x LP compilation ANDY WARHOL'S VELVET UNDERGROUND FEATURING NICO also released in 1971. Please do not miss this superb acid 7” because both tracks are perfect from start to finish.
