Description

 THE VELVET UNDERGROUND AND NICO  Released in 1967 on black Verve label no SVLP.9184 in stereo, this is the first issue sleeve, pre Warhol banana.  The record has A2 B2 on the run off.  The record has been fairly well played and there are some surface marks but it plays very well with only occasional pops and background noise.  The single sleeve is well worn - front laminate, flip back and printed by Garrod and Lofthouse.  The side opening is worn with no tears but all the edges and spine are fine with no slits.  The spine has some sellotape on, the front has some minor creasing and minor marks and the back has some small stains. 

If you want a really good copy, don't bid for this but it is a very serviceable copy of the first record by an iconic band in the original sleeve.
