DESCRIPTION: The Velvet Underground original 1969 MGM Special Disc Jockey Record VU-1 with picture sleeve, both sides feature a radio ad for the third VU album read by Bill Rosko Mercer with excerpts of "I'm Set Free", "What Goes On", and "Beginning to See the Light". THIS IS THE ORIGINAL, NOT A REPRODUCTION, found at a Columbus, Ohio garage sale. This is one of the rarest picture sleeves ever printed.

SIZE/WEIGHT: 7" 45 RPM Vinyl Record in picture sleeve.

CONDITION: Record appears to be near mint as per the Goldmine grading guide. Appears virtually flawless on the vinyl and label. Plays great with very minimal surface noise. Sleeve has wrinkles, minor soiling and a couple of minor tears. See the photos below. Please be sure to ASK ANY QUESTIONS prior to bidding.
