VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO ORIGINAL PRESS LP!!!!! MONO!! CLASSIC!!! 

Here we have an original mono pressing of the Velvet Underground & Nico LP on Verve (V-5008), with the blue Verve label. It is complete with a partially peeled banana sticker on the infamous cover designed by Andy Warhol (see photo).

Post legal action version of the back cover, with a large black sticker covering the upside down male torso in the stage photo, which can be seen in the photo (after a lawsuit threat MGM decided to pull back the album for 6 weeks to put a black sticker on the back to cover the photo. On later pressings the photo was airbrushed).

LP is VG++ (looks amazing other than a few minor scuffs on Side A Track 6 All Tomorrow's Parties). Sleeve is G++ (construction is still solid, but with some storage/ring/age wear, plus aforementioned sticker. Banana sticker is mostly intact but the top has been peeled. There is a small hole punched through the bottom left hand corner of the sleeve).

We definitely do not see this one everyday!
