ARTIST / TITLE : VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO – SAME

LABEL : Verve, V6 5008/710 004. Germany, Stereo.

CONDITION (Record/Cover) : EX/VG+

COMMENT : Rare original german pressing of this Cult LP. German record 710 004 housed in a US sleeve V6-5008 which is the way it was issued. Sleeve has the little sticker on the back with the German # on rear (See photo). Frontsleeve is still clean with light discoloration as you can see from the photo, cover is a bit used but still in good shape, conservatively VG+. There's a little tear in the banana at top and a little scratch at bottom (see photo), again somebody was curious and tried to see the real color of the banana... but nothing is missing.

The record is graded EX. It has a long thin hairline/scratch? on « European Son » that DOES NOT affect sound at all. Except for that, the wax is shiny and in really nice condition, clean labels, a beautiful copy! The records plays M- on my equipment. The sound on this German pressing is crystal clear and superior to the US pressing. Feel free to ask if any questions.

GRADING CODES :

M = Record in new condition, never played or looking like it. Sleeve as new.

EX = Record in superb condition, very rarely played, may present slight visible marks but no audible ones. Sleeve may present slight signs of natural aging.

VG+ = Record is really nice, may present a few visible marks which are slightly audible. Surface noise noticeable but does not really affect the playing. Sleeve may present a few flaws like light openings, ring wear...

VG = Record has been played often, presents some visible and audible marks, many surface noises are noticeable. Sleeve shows noticeable defects like heavy split seam, tears...

VG- = Record doesn't look nice because of general wear, it is in playable condition, but some/all tracks are noisy or click. Sleeve has noticeable general wear.
