Description

This is an original stereo version of this classic 1960's LP,released on the Verve label (V6-5008).  Comes in a gatefold sleeve and still has the peelable banana on the front of the sleeve!

O.K - now for the fine detail:

THE GATEFOLD COVER:  (See Picture Scans 1 - 3):

  • Has some very slight browning & discolouring due to age.
  • The rear of the cover has a 2-inch crease to the laminate halfway down the left-hand side.
  • The inside of the gatefold cover is in very good clean condition.
  • There are two small tears at the top of the banana, caused because someone has obviously disregarded the advice to "peel slowly & see" !
  • However, these small defects do not spoil the overall appearance and the cover is in excellent condition for its age, with no tears or appreciable wear.

THE VINYL: (See Picture Scan 4)

  • The blue Verve labels are in near-mint condition, with no wear to the spindle hole.
  • The Verve inner sleeve is in excellent clean condition.
  • Side 1 of the LP is in excellent condition.
  • Side 2 of the LP is in VG++ condition with 2 or 3 light scratches on track 5.
  • There is some slight surface noise & a couple of clicks on the quieter parts, but overall the whole LP plays very well and sounds great on my hi-fi system.

I have described this item as honestly and accurately as possible, but please e-mail me if you have any further questions.

These don't come up for sale in this condition too often and this highly sought-after LP is offered here at a dead-cheap start price with NO RESERVE - so bid now for a an iconic piece of 1960's history!
