VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO produced by Andy Warhol - Incredibly RARE Original 1967 Stereo UK Vinyl LP with Garrod & Lofthouse Laminate flipback single Sleeve and Black/Silver VERVE labels

Very Good Minus Condition. A decent playing copy of a very rare pressing

SLEEVE:     

VG- (Readable spine with slight wear only. Laminate front has some discolouring, creasing and ringwear. Minor wear to edges and corners. Back cover has noticeable staining and discolouring and a little writing in one corner. All 3 flipbacks are firmly in place. Small 'stereo' printed in top right corner of front of sleeve)

INNER:                     

Plain poly lined inner

VG- (Plays as VG+ or VG on some tracks, with occasional light crackle. However there are a few tracks with more noticeable surface crackle, especially in quieter passages, and an occasional click - so I am grading VG minus overall. Visually minor wear. Although this is not the best playing copy there is NO distortion or jumps)

GRADINGS

When grading records and CD’s I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.

MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable.

I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-
